If your quantity is big enough, I would suggest to buy from factories only. If it is a lot of products with small quantity, then buy from wholesale market, like Yiwu wholesale market.
For trade shows, you can try Canton Fair, Yiwu Fair and East China Fair, I would recommend canton fair.

I assume you are trying to buy directly from factory, but your quantity can’t meet their MOQ, so you try to find similar buyers to buy from factory together(So MOQ wouldn’t be a problem), thus the price will be lower, as it is direct from the factory.
In practise, it is hard to organize, even though you can find some similar clothes buyers, however, as the demand is different, it is very hard to find similar sized buyers buying similar products at same time.
I would suggest you to buy from wholesale market, where the price is still very competitive.
